Alpine Visitors Centre Tour - This is a great tour if you wish to cover all 3 ecosystems. We start in the lower valley and get you right up to the Alpine Visitors Centre at 11,796 feet. You will encounter breathtaking views, but remember to layer up and bring warm clothes as there is usually snow at the top year round. We get you to the areas most people drive past and give you extra time at each stop for photos. Tours are interpretive and we leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

I am a local historian and naturalist who has lived in the area for over 50 years. I consider myself an interpreter of nature adding color to the already stunning beauty you'll see. We'll concentrate on the myriad wildlife, the diverse biology, and incredible geology of the Rockies. We'll also get insight into what it might have been like for early pioneers and lodge keepers as well as indigenous people like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute.

My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too! Either way we'll stop often to photograph and talk about the amazing sights.

This is a great tour if you are focused on wildlife and a little nervous about heights! We cover all the lower valley key areas such as Sheep lakes, Alluvial Fan Waterfall, Moraine Park, and either Sprague or Bear Lake. The views are amazing and this is typically where you will find most of the wildlife. All tours are interpretive and get you to areas most people drive past. We give you plenty of time at each stop for photos and to enjoy the beauty.

This is a follow the tour guide tour. Customer must have their own car.

Join us for a unique experience in our 3-row Subaru Ascent! Drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park on a 4 - 5 hour guided tour that is focused entirely on you and your party. On our Rocky Mountain Tour, you will be taken up the famous Old Fall River Road (when open, Jul. - Sep.) where you will see beautiful mountain views and waterfalls, stop at the highest visitor center in the US National Park System, and drive back down the highest continuous paved road in the United States, Trail Ridge Road (when open, Jun. - Sep.). When Old Fall River road is not open, you will drive up and back down Trail Ridge Road. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests.

Please note that we are only able to offer hotel pickup for guests in Estes Park or the small surrounding towns. If you are staying outside of Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

With your cell phone and cameras, your guide will take you to view the wildlife and scenic wonders of RMNP and the Alpine Visitor Center. In the comfort of your own vehicle, your guide offers the option of driving your vehicle as you enjoy the journey. Join us for a guided winter experience in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through the Rocky Mountain National Park on a 4 - 5 hour tour that is focused entirely on your party. On our tour, we'll see a waterfall (frozen during our snowy months), we'll drive up the famous Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests.
