Are you visiting the beautiful city of Paris for the very first time or do you return to the city of love on a regular basis? The best way to discover Paris is to take your time! What better way to do so than with your very own local insider? On this 6-7 hours private tour you get the chance to explore Paris like a local. You'll kick off​ your tour in the morning around 10 am, where I'll greet you at your preferred meeting point or hotel. (pick up is a little extra) Then it's time to really discover the city! The entire tour is customizable according to your wishes. Would you love to see the main highlights or would you prefer a more authentic experience? I will tell you about the history of my city! We may take the metro to save you long trips during the day. Whatever your wishes, it will be a unique experience, created just for you! For lunch, we'll go to a restaurant that matches your desires and budget. If the weather is nice I can even prepare a typical French picnic! We will make as many stops as you like to relax, try local food, look at shops, take pictures and chat. As the entire itinerary is customizable to your wishes, here's an example of what I can offer you: - Start the morning discovering the left bank and the old Paris. The afternoon is focused on the emblematic Paris of the 19th century on the right bank. - Starting at 10 am we'll meet in front of the pretty fountain St Michel, the ideal place to start the day. I can also meet you in front of your hotel! - Then it's time to discover the island of the city: the Notre Dame de Paris, the Palace, the Place Dauphine and the Pont Neuf. Marvel at the impressive buildings while I tell you all about them. - Explore the Latin Quarter where you'll see the oldest streets of Paris, the ancient ruins and a magical student district near the Pantheon. - Stroll past the beautiful Luxembourg garden and check out the district of St. Germain des Prés. Explore the typical Parisian streets, just like you've imagined authentic Paris to be like. Cross the river on the bridge of arts (my favorite place) to go around the huge Louvre Palace ( but not inside the museum). - Now on the right bank, you'll get the chance to see the Royal Palace, the alleys, and the Opera district! From there we can head to the Champs Elysees before joining the Eiffel Tower to end this beautiful day. This route is of course completely customizable according to your desires and the location of your hotel. Please get in touch and I look forward to meeting you! Warning : I would love to adapt to your request. But it is very important to know that Paris is a big city: it is not possible to see everything in one day! In addition, the spirit of this experience is to walk around quietly and take your time. I won't try to show you the maximum as soon as possible: it would be exhausting for everyone and devoid of interest! Also take into account that if you arrive in the morning to leave at night at the airport the transit can be unpleasant: it would be more interesting for you to ask for a more modest tour, that I would be happy to prepare you. The price here doesn't include hôtel or airport pick up, food and drinks, museum and transport tickets. If you are students please tell me the price can be discussed!

One of the most appealing characteristics of Paris is the contrast between the stunning big city buzz and the serenity of the flower markets. There’s also the fabulous architecture and the fascinating history that seems to be everywhere! On this tour you can experience it all. And with me as your guide we can avoid the touristy crowds. You can stroll around the very peaceful Place Dauphine and visit the oldest Flower Market in Paris. Mingle with the locals and admire the huge selection of seasonal flowers, as well as the more exotic orchids, plants, and shrubs... a delightful place for a walk and soak up the authentic Parisian atmosphere. On the corner stands the majestic Notre Dame, and I can tell you some inside stories about the world’s most famous cathedral. Let’s play a detective game do some treasure hunting – always a favorite with kids. While we stroll through the park, I can explain more about Parisian lifestyles and how they have changed through the years. Crossing the beautiful Au Double bridge we can find the famous Bouquinistes, the booksellers that sell their second-hand books along the Seine. Time to immerse yourself in more authentic Parisian atmosphere, this place is now a UNESCO World Heritage site! Then we will find our way into Shakespeare and Company, a literary institution with magic charm. Let's stroll through the gardens of Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre church, built more than 700 years ago it’s one of the oldest buildings in town. We can wander through the narrow cobblestone streets and find the most amazing chocolate store you can imagine, where we can pick some treats to go! Another kids favorite. I can also show you medieval gardens of the Cluny Museum, with the ruins of the Gallo-Roman thermal baths in the background. Here we’ll also find a nice park for children!
