How to find us: Upon debarkation, please take one of the free shuttle services from your cruise ship to the meeting point. The ride should take about ten minutes. Your coach will be in the car park at Largo della Pace, just opposite of the fire brigades station. Your assistant from Civita Tours will be waiting for you. Please plan to be at the designated departure location at least 15 minutes before the departure time. After meeting your driver at the bus terminal, your guide will give you information about Rome on the 90-minute ride to Rome (with 8 or fewer passengers, the tour is carried out in a minivan with an English-speaking driver, no separate guide). Kindly note that this tour does NOT include the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel, and most of the sites are seen walking through the city. The pace is quite fast. The streets of Rome can be very crowded, so this tour could pose challenges for those with mobility issues or if you have small children in strollers.

A 90-minute guided tour of the Palatine Hill is optional for an additional 25 Euro per person (in cash to cover the entry fee).

The most convenient shared shuttle service between Civitavecchia Port and Rome centre. The bus stop is located just outside the Port pedestrians passage at Largo Della Pace. To catch the bus, you must take the free shuttle service stopping at each pier to reach the PORT INFO POINT, where our staff will greet you, redeem your voucher and take you to the nearby bus stop to depart for Rome. The journey lasts 60/70 minutes and you can choose to drop off at the Vatican area (Via Crescenzio 19) which is within walking distance to St.Peter's church and Vatican Museum or at Termini Station (Piazza Indipendenza). For pick up, you need to attend the chosen bus stop (Vatican: Via Crescenzio 2 orTermini: Piazza Indipendenza) at least 15 minutes before the departure to validate your presence and redeem again your ticket to get on board.
