Dubrovnik's Magical Sunset Boat Tour

(58)
Duration: 2 hours
The best way to explore Dubrovnik is by boat. I love being out on the water with friends and family, exploring all of the secret corners my city has to offer. At sunset, sunshine is mild, there's a cooling sea breeze, and there's the perfect amount of sunlight to enjoy all of the best sights. I'll pick you up at 6 PM at the latest, so we're right on time to enjoy the beautiful locations of Dubrovnik under a picturesque sunset. We'll cruise straight to Old Town panorama, around the city walls to admire their size and craft. Lokrum island is our next stop; it's an absolute must-see! You'll get to see caves, tall trees, and even peacocks and bunnies bouncing around the island. If you're a water lover like me don't forget your bathing suit, we can stop for you to enjoy a quick dip. Let's then sail out to the open sea! You'll be able to see the beautiful reef and the seagulls who call it home. As the sun begins to sink into the horizon, we'll drift gently around the Koločep island, one of the three Elaphite Islands. Lazing on your private speedboat, you'll have the best seats in the house for the gorgeous sunset show. I can also bring towels, complimentary snacks, beverages, and a GoPro to capture all of these fantastic memories. I'll share every story behind every location but, trust me, the views speak for themselves! Check out the plan below; if there's anything you want to change, let me know. I can 100% customize this tour to your wishes.

Us locals love the Elaphiti Islands! I love visiting these Islands on a sunny day with my friends & family. They're a short boat trip from Dubrovnik and are a must-see if you want to spend your trip living like a local. Our first stop on the boat trip is Koločep Island with its clear blue water and sandy shores. It's paradise! Locals live by the motto, no cars and no rush," so you can only imagine the laid back atmosphere. If you're a strong swimmer, we'll visit the famous Blue Cave. You can use my GoPro to capture these amazing memories to show your friends & family back home. We'll then head to the Lopud Island which has my favorite sandy beach in Dubrovnik, Šunj. It's the perfect tanning spot! You can either relax on the speed boat with snacks & drinks or head onto the island for an adventure. If you're feeling a little hungry, we can make arrangements for a light lunch in a delicious restaurant on the island; just let me know! The last island of our Elaphiti islands tour is Šipan, the largest and most densely populated of the islands. The Dark Side of Medieval Dubrovnik Private Tour

(16)
Duration: 2 hours
Come with me on a trip back in time, when Dubrovnik's Old Town had just been built. Who lived within these walls? How did they live? Were they different from us? I can answer all of these questions and more on this fascinating private tour. I am a passionate historian in love with medieval times, and I want to share my city and knowledge with you. Join me on a walk through the best preserved medieval town in the world, and find out how life used to be centuries ago. I'll take you through the narrow streets of Old Town, and we'll unfold its history along the way. Human nature has not changed much over the centuries. There were good and bad people in those days too. Although criminals haven't changed, the penalties are significantly altered. It's unbelievable how imaginative some of those punishments were. Come with me to the Rector's Palace and the Luža Square where public punishments used to take place. If there was something that left its mark during Medieval times, it was the black plague. I'll take you to see the last quarantine station Lazareti, where visitors stayed for 40 days before they were allowed to enter the city. The middle ages were also quite rough for women. We'll recreate their lifestyle by the Onofrio's fountain, the source of drinking water in the past. You can hear much more if you let me know what your interests are. I can personalize the tour in the way you want it. See you in Dubrovnik!
