We are Newquays Number 1 Specialist Surf School. Our coaching team are all professionally qualified surf coaches as well as qualified beach lifeguards, and CRB / DBS checked.
We only teach surfing, so you can sure your kids are in a safe and professional environment.
These kids lessons are great for all abilities as the coach will tailor the lesson depending on the abilities of the group. Its a max of 6 kids per session, all aged 8-13 year olds.
In addition, we boast the best facilities. Heated changing rooms, hot showers, towels, hairdryers, and a bar / restaurants with the best view in town!

Open all year we have a fantastic selection of wetsuits and boards for all abilities. You need not worry about your belongings as these can be left with the surf hire while you are out enjoying the waves.

Being based on the beach means that throughout the day you can drop the equipment off, and pick it back up as you like.

Our family friendly surf lessons are private just for you and your family.  These lessons are two hours long, fun, safe and educational, and include all the equipment.  Its a great treat for the whole family come rain or shine!

Our overnight Surf & Wild Camp weekends in Cornwall are designed for those wanting to soak up a whole weekend of surfing and unwind in our woodland wild camp.

A fantastic introduction to everything surfing and much more than just a series of surf lessons, we’ll cover both surfing basics & surf theory before kicking back in our private Cornish woodland wild camp.

This tour is a guided walk around Newlyn’s historic port and town, led by archaeologist Jeanette Ratcliffe, who is part of the local community.
Situated in the northwest corner of Mount’s Bay, protected from the prevailing westerly winds, Newlyn originated as a seasonal fishing settlement. After surviving a Spanish raid of 1595, its fortunes rose dramatically, as a centre for the Cornish pilchard fishery. Boosted by the 19th century arrival of the railway, Newlyn grew into the largest fishing port in Cornwall, with its economy still today heavily based on fish.
Newlyn is also famous for its late 19th – early 20th century Newlyn School of Artists – painters working in the ‘plein air’ style attracted to the town’s spectacular natural setting and the ‘picturesque’ quality of its people and streetscapes. Newlyn’s continuation as a premier fishing port, alongside being a base for local artists and art-loving visitors, makes it a uniquely special place.

We will either head to the infamous Newquay Beach, Towan or head to a more sheltered water area known as The Gannel. The location will be communicated to you on the day of the activity. You will still meet us at our base in Newquay for both locations.
