Learn how to surf with Tamarindo's #1 Surf School since 1989. All skill levels welcome. We are located directly in front of a beach break and we are Tamarindo’s original surf shop! We are highly experience, having taught over 100,000 surf lessons in the 30 years we have been operating. All of our staff members are friendly, bilingual and very experienced professionals. Over half of our staff has been with us for over 10 years! We cater specifically to each and every customer’s needs and it is our goal to have every customer leave 100% satisfied and we put a huge emphasis on safety. We are a fully insured company with properly trained instructors in water and surf safety, CPR and First Aid.

The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano that includes ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, full lunch, hot springs, and volcanic mud bath.

Ziplining
The course takes you into a steep canyon where you will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a hanging bridge, rappel, and a tarzan swing! (rappel & swing optional)

Horseback Riding - 45-minute ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of the volcano

River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers.

Lunch includes a salad bar, many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated

After lunch you will driven to the Hot Springs & Mud Bath. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Río Negro Hot Springs feature ten pools with waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.

A trip to Tamarindo is not complete without a day spent on the ocean, and there is no better way to enjoy the beauty and wonder of the Costa Rican sea than aboard the Blue Dolphin, a 40-foot sailing catamaran. Blue Dolphin is the original sailing tour company in Guanacaste, operating continuously since 2004. Llanos de Cortes Waterfall
To start your day, we will take you to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall in Bagaces, where you can relax and take a swim at the falls or walk around exploring the flora and fauna.

Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park
Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.   You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon.  Then you will continue hiking to where two brooks merge together, turning clear water into a divine hue of turquoise that makes Rio Celeste due to achemical reaction of volcanic minerals.

Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary
After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.

THIS A FULL PRIVATE TOUR, to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.

Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 2 ATVs or 1 Buggy

Departing from the beach in Tamarindo, you will enjoy a 4.5-hour sail along Costa Rica's spectacular coastline on one of the purpose built catamarans.  All are open and spacious allowing passengers to comfortably enjoy the blue water views of the Costa Rican coastline with its pristine beaches and verdant jungles.

Enjoy the view with a cold tropical drink, prepared and served by the crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. You will also be able to snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white sand beach while the ever helpful crew prepares a feast of chicken or pasta salad, fruit, chips, pico de gallo, guacamole and homemade chocolate chip cookies. A full day tour exploring the flora, fauna and natural wonders of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park. The day consists of a moderate 2-hour hike where you will see wildlife and volcanic activity, have a visit to Oropendola Waterfall where you can swim in the blue lagoon, eat a typical Costa Rican lunch, and then relax hot springs and enjoy a volcanic mud bath.

The Tamarindo Beach & Pool Crawl leaves every Sunday at 1:00PM from El Be! Tamarindo Beach Club (come early for a pre-party from noon-1:00pm) The tour explores the hidden pools and beaches outside of Tamarindo getting you back to the centre of Tamarindo for around 7.45pm
