The old biologist longs to pass on to his granddaughter his unrelenting search for the meaning of life while being surrounded by a weird group of half-human, half-animal masters influenced by ancient Mayan iconography. JOYÀ was inspired by the monarch butterfly's amazing migratory journey, in which life is handed down from one generation to the next to ensure the survival of the species.
