Amsterdam Light Festival Private Boat Tour

(55)
Duration: an hour
Join me aboard my 100-year-old traditional Dutch canal boat Delphine, a charming notary boat. Just like most boats in Amsterdam I have turned this antique boat electric which gives you a silent feeling of sailing the waters. Sit back and relax as you float through this beautiful city during the Amsterdam Light Festival. Sip on a drink and enjoy the views! My canal boat Delphine was built in 1915 and only holds 12 passengers, which is fantastic because it fits under the smaller bridges! This way we can reach hidden gems and go into the smaller canals. After leaving the embarking dock at the Zwanenburgwal we will cruise towards the Nemo museum where we will meet our first light sculpture. From there we'll pass the famous VOC ship and continue onto the Nieuwe Herengracht to cross the Amstel river. Floating along the Herengracht you can see most art sculptures but also the beautifully enlighted historic canal houses of the 17th century. On our return back to the dock, after approximately 75 minutes we will pass by the smallest house in town on the Singel Gracht, and the famous Doelenhotel, which is the former house of Rembrandt van Rijn! Feel free to let me know your preferences and I customize the tour to your wishes. 'Doei' and see you soon! *Please note* The Amsterdam Light Festival runs from 29 November 2018 - 20 January 2019.
