This species is larger than the common dolphin and has a darker hue, close to anthracite gray. You can also observe common dolphins, which are smaller and extremely fast. Speaking of speed, our boat is quite fast, which is a big advantage when it comes to finding dolphins, which are wild animals that travel many nautical miles in a short time. Therefore, our success rate in finding these friendly mammals is around 100%. Furthermore, our boat, due to its characteristics, allows for very close observation of dolphins. (Tuesday to Sunday) - After the hotel pick up ( around 5:30 AM) we drive you to Pico do Arieiro where we will enjoy the Sunrise around 7 AM. This is the highest viewpoint of the island at 1818 metres of altitude. See the sunrise while enjoying a hot cup of coffee/tea, a luxury only our clients will have as there are no coffee places open at that time. You can choose a few varieties of coffee, as we have sugar and milk on the side, and we have 3 varieties of tea. You can enjoy all of this as it is included in our price (Tuesday to Sunday)
We have sandwiches , homemade cake, biscuits, water, orange juice, fruit jam, cheese, ham, in a buffet style breakfast.
After all of this we go back to the area of Camacha and go for a lovely levada walk(available Tuesday to Saturday) in the Paradise Valley area, it should take you about 40 minutes to complete.
If the weather/visibility conditions are not good enough to see the sunrise in Pico do Arieiro we change the sunrise spot to another area.
