This is a 2 hour and 15 minute tour with Lovers Key Adventures master naturalist guide, Stephen, who expertly guides our guests through the mangrove canopied estuary explaining the importance of the southwest Florida eco-system -the history of the area- from the Calusa Indians, Conquistadors, and Ponce De Leon..on. He finds wildlife and introduces our guests to the various birds, vegetation, dolphins, and manatee (if they’re around that day;) This is one of the unique experiences available in southwest Florida. Our guests also often take advantage of the beaches and hiking trails offered inside the state park. There are many photo opportunities available to capture the memories of this incredible experience within the natural surroundings of the untouched Florida landscape.

Spend a full day exploring the wilderness of the Everglades on this adventure from the Greater Fort Myers/Naples area. Enjoy paddling through the mangrove tunnels on Estero bay. Our kayak tours are available for all ages. If anyone wants to bring their own SUP or kayak they are welcome to join. Dogs are permitted as well.

He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is passionate about sharing this love with you by kayaking through the beautiful mangroves, where you can see pelicans, herons, dolphins, and perhaps a manatee. Capt. Steve emphasizes a quality, real feel for the mysterious Florida Everglades. He was the first to commercially guide Swamp Buggy Adventures Tours within the Big Cypress National Preserve. BCNP is a division of The Everglades Nation Park.

The majority of the cruise will be through slow waterways along the intracoastal along Fort Myers Beach. We will end the tour with a sunset on the Gulf of Mexico. All tours are operated by our USCG licensed Captain Kate. We will likely spot dolphins, various species of birds, and maybe even manatees on your cruise. We provide a bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music. BYOB. Parking is $10.
