You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. During our time together in the wilderness, we will collect data for a citizen science project and help protect the Arctic nature through responsible tourism. Enjoy our hot chocolate before being returned to Tromsø island to your hotel. We wander the fortress complex, covering Bergen’s medieval history and short period as Norway's capital. After this crash course in Norwegian history, we make our way to Bryggen, Bergen’s UNESCO Site. Here, you learn about 1,000 years of trade history and the reason for Bergen’s founding and growth. The second half of our tour is about life in Bergen. We leave the ‘touristy’ part behind and wander into the neighbourhood surrounding Bryggen. Join our small group Northern Lights tour! In a small group with a max of 15 people we’ll take you to the spots with the clearest sky, take professional pictures and offer help on how to set up your own camera. Photos will be shared with you by email. If you need a tripod we also got it for you! To keep you warm during the tour we have thermal suits and warm boots. Later on, we're going to enjoy the cozy atmosphere around a bonfire, have sausages, warm drinks and cookies.

With purpose made hybrid-electric boats for whale watching, we minimise disturbance to nature and whales. Leaving Tromsø in the morning, we head to where the whales are in time to enjoy the short hours of daylight. On the way you can take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, panoramic lounges and 2 decks. We use a hybrid engine to reach the whale’s feeding grounds, and as we near the whales, we switch to a silent electric engine that allows us to get closer without disturbing them. Please note that the duration of the trip depends on the whales’ location. It takes up to 3.5 hours to get to the whales and can therefore range from 8-9 hours. We depart Aker Brygge and set course to experience Oslo from a different vantage point. The Oslo fjord. We will slowly glide past the Aker fortress, the Opera, Hovedøya and the famous lighthouse on a rock; Dyna Fyr. During the tour our tours guide will share interesting and important stories of the nature and wildlife that lives in and around the city of Oslo. In our onboard cafe, you can purchase soft drinks and freshly baked goods. Both inside and outside it is comfortable and safe for young and old. After a briefing on the weather and route, we’ll head out in search of the Northern Lights. The guide will share insights about the Aurora, local wildlife, and history. We monitor the forecast to find the best location, even if it means heading to Finland. At the viewing spot, enjoy hot drinks, snacks, and, if possible, a bonfire (weather-dependent). Thermal suits are available to keep you warm. Your guide will take professional photos of you with the Northern Lights. Photos are uploaded the next day. After the tour, we’ll drop you off at Tromsdalen, Reinen, Tromsø Island, or Kvaløysletta. If your accommodation is elsewhere, we'll help arrange a taxi.

Please note that from Apr-Aug this tour is 4-4.5 hours long and we visit 3 islands. From Sep-Mar, this tour is 3-3.5 hours and we visit 2 or 3 islands depending on the weather and the boat schedule. Discover the majestic islands of the Oslofjord, hopping on and off ferries to hike the forests, cliffs, charming villages and historic sites of 2-3 islands (season dependant). With a local guide, explore the ruins of a 900 year old abbey, picnic on a cosy beach (Oct-Mar, a small stop with hot drinks will be provided) and stroll through a village of colourful wooden cabins and flower-lined paths. The stunning views of Oslo and its hills provide a scenic backdrop, with photo spots at every turn. Don't forget a swim suit in the Summer months to bathe in the surprisingly warm waters of the Oslo fjord! Time for a picnic is included and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Good walking shoes or trail shoes are recommended as the hiking is done on dirt paths, gravel and stones.
