Don't miss this early morning tour to El Tatio geyser field, one of San Pedro de Atacama’s most popular surrounding attractions and one of the biggest geothermal fields in the world with more than 80 geyers. With a local guide, you'll arrive at El Tatio at sunrise, when the cold, high-altitude air creates a mystical landscape of steam. Then enjoy a light breakfast. End your tour with a stop in the small adobe village of Machuca.

Ninety kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama we find the Geiser del Tatio, a 10-square-kilometer geothermal field considered one of the most important on the planet and the highest in the world (4,200 masl). There we will find geysers of steam, water, mud, etc. that surpass the 15 meters of height, true boilers of water boiling at temperatures of 85 degrees. It is amazing to see the play of light that originates with the sunrise, magnificent colors and view.

We will begin this excursion having breakfast in the Tambillo forest, a particular forest of a tree called Tamarugo that grows in the middle of the desert. Then we will visit the Chaxa lagoon, located in the Salar de Atacama, a lagoon of spectacular beauty that is divided into several mirrors of water, where a large number of flamingos live. Toconao (Kunza Rincón perdido) enchants for its simplicity, calm of its people, special climate, beautiful architecture and crafts; We will visit the marginal area of the Salar de Atacama known as Laguna Chaxa located in Sector Soncor R.N.L.
