The concert features piano and voices because in the main theatres tradition piano is the only substitute of the orchestra. No string quartets and anything like that!

Arias and duets from opera greats like Verdi and Puccini, exciting pieces for solo piano by Chopin and Liszt will be interpreted between vocal performances; Neapolitan songs will round off the program and give you an exquisite taste of Italian musical greatness.

Tenor Alessandro Fantini and pianist Giovanni Velluti will lead their team of internationally-acclaimed musicians and will guide your experience of the music with commentary in English.

Free Aperitivo immediately after the concert, in which you will have the opportunity to meet the artists.

The concert take place in St. Andrews of Scotland, in via Venti Settembre 7, a few meters from the Quirinale Palace.

On this tour, you will experience "Santa Maria Maggiore", which contains one of the four Holy Doors.

The tour culminates in a visit to the arch-basilica of "San Giovanni in Laterano", which contains another of the four Holy Doors.

From the very beginning, the Gallery was conceived as a large boardroom, which was to celebrate the victory of the Christian fleet over the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The commander of the Papal fleet, Marcantonio II Colonna, is depicted numerous times throughout the vault of the Great Hall of the Gallery and in the Room of the Battle Column.

The Gallery includes works by Lorenzo Monaco, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Palma the Elder, Salviati, Bronzino, Tintoretto, Pietro da Cortona, Annibale Carracci (painting of The Beaneater), Guercino, Francesco Albani, Muziano and Guido Reni. Ceiling frescoes by Filippo Gherardi, Giovanni Coli, Sebastiano Ricci, and Giuseppe Bartolomeo Chiari celebrate the role of Marcantonio II Colonna in the battle of Lepanto (1571).

The musical program includes classics of Italian opera (arias and duets) by greats such as Puccini and Verdi, classics of the romantic virtuoso piano repertoire like Liszt and Chopin, Neapolitan songs and the greatest Christmas songs.

We are the only tourists concert season run by professionals: pianist Giovanni Velluti and tenor Alessandro Fantini.

We perform only with piano accompaniment because in all major theaters in the world the standard is with orchestra or piano. No string quartets and anything like that!

Our hall allows only 80 people: the audience feel like taking part to a private concert.

Immediately after the concert, you will have the opportunity to meet the artists drinking Prosecco in the pleasant setting of a free Christmas Aperitivo.

The concert take place in St. Andrews of Scotland, in via Venti Settembre 7, a few meters from the Quirinale Palace.
