NOTE: The Lukla flights to and from Kathmandu had been shifted to Manthali Airport, Ramechhap district in 2019 & 2020 due to heavy air traffic during peak trekking season (Mar, Apr, May, Oct, Nov). But, for now, the flights are directly between Kathmandu and Lukla. Extra cost would be applicable if airlines don't provide any shuttle services or if you want to take a private vehicle instead of the shared ride provided by the airlines.
Everest Base Camp trekking offers a unique experience with panoramic views of the world’s highest and most beautiful mountains. It is one of the most inspiring place in the world and trekking is possible all year round, but the best times to visit are March to May and September to December. The trip begins with a 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which is an entry point of the Everest Region. You start your trek from Lukla. On the way there are many tea houses in which you can stay and eat locally as well as Western food.

At Nepal Cooking School, we value the love for learning equally as the love for cooking. Therefore, we do not just teach you to cook but appreciate the whole process of picking the right ingredients to create a fantastic meal. Our courses are excellent for first-timers, with the friendly environment and hands-on activities during the workshop which are easy to follow. Along the way, you’ll get an insight into the daily hustle of the Nepalese lifestyle and even make some new friends.
