Just 2 km from the main park of Filandia I found "La Reserva Barbas Bremen", a natural destination where I walked trails full of varied vegetation; in which, if you are lucky, you will be able to meet the Howler Monkey, one of the largest primates in Colombia, which is only found in mountainous areas with humid and cloud forests or dry tropical forests.

We start in Salento Quindío, meeting point with the guide to board the transport that will take us to the cocora valley. The Santa Rita Waterfall is a cattle farm in the process of sustainable transformation. Within the property there are secondary forests and two rivers which flow into the Quindío River. By visiting this reserve we can enjoy the natural beauty of the cloud forest around Salento and support its preservation and restoration.
